SEX FACTS >

Love, sex and relationships! We all want to be loved, appreciated and have pleasure and fulfillment in our lives. God gave us all the capacity to love and be loved, to have special friendships with others. He also gave us a sexual nature, and sexual desires. This was not just so that we would keep the human race going, but also because God wanted us to enjoy oneness with a life partner. Sex unites a man and woman physically, emotionally and spiritually! God created sex as a wonderful gift to be enjoyed between a man and woman . He intended it to be an intimate expression of love exclusively between a male and a female.

Normally a term is used as "One Flesh"-the basic concept of "one flesh" is that of two people becoming one in mind, body and soul. There is no division between that which is physical, that which is spiritual and that which is sexual. The body, mind and soul of two people are brought together to form one entity. That could have been the purpose of creating male and female by nature.

Just as fire only brings warmth when contained in the fireplace, and devastation when allowed to burn where it chooses, sex that is not checked brings devastation to individuals, families, and communities. First of all one can teach our young men that the essence of manhood is not their ability to be morally loose with many women, but rather to be faithful for a lifetime with one to whom you love.

Our sexuality is not just physical but is an integral part of who we are. That is why reducing it to mere physical acts is always depersonalizing. Sexuality has more to do with partnership and companionship at the deepest levels than with a merely biological act.

Sex is like fire. In your fireplace it can keep your house warm. But if fire gets out of control it can burn your house down. It can even kill you. Sex is like that. Lots of people have now died of sexually transmitted diseases. Modern man may mock, but the best way to avoid diseases like AIDS, syphillus and others is to limit your sex life to just one lifelong partner who has not gotten infected with these diseases through promiscuity. And until you find that person, abstinence won't kill you. In fact, it will release a lot of creative energy which you can apply to achieving in many areas of life.

It seems a shame that people suffer so much and some die because of bad decisions with regard to their sex lives.
